After studying law and commerce (majoring in accounting and tax), prominent Brisbane business lawyer, Zeke Bentley worked as a legal officer in Singapore, before returning to Australia where he was admitted as a solicitor in 1996.His career has focused on commercial matters, primarily in litigation, tax and insolvency law, and he has acted in a number of high profile multimillion dollar litigation matters, as well as successfully defending major prosecutions levelled against his clients by the ACCC and the ATO.

His clients include car manufacturing businesses, major property developers, accounting groups, liquidators, Barristers and other law Firms. In 2000 he took over the helm of Irish Bentley Lawyers, which has grown to become a respected litigation and commercial law Firm. His tactical litigation skills have secured many Court victories, and the Firm has gained an enviable reputation for establishing new legal precedents and outstanding results.

Nihard is a qualified Lawyer from Sri Lanka who was admitted to the Sri Lankan Bar in 1991 and worked in one of the country’s top law firms. In 1992, she relocated to Papua New Guinea where she worked as a paralegal with Warner Shand Lawyers. She then moved to Australia in 1994 to take up residency while continuing her work with Warner Shand Lawyers on a fly in fly out basis.

She joined The Law Place Solicitors as a paralegal in 2008, and continues to run all conveyances including off the plan contracts and strata titling. Her attention to detail and litigation background ensure she advises our clients of all risks associated with their transactions.

She speaks three languages and has experience working with people from all walks of life.
